Rhonda and Mitchell Hilburn

Rhonda and Mitchell Hilburn are natives to Gaston County. They were married in 2011 and. have 2 boys, Liam and Nicklaus. The Hilburns have been part of the Clover Liberty family since 2017 and have served as leaders in the children’s church ministry since 2018. Rhonda coordinates and leads a team of staff to help pour the love of Jesus into the children at Clover Liberty. Clover Liberty children’s ministry includes children ages 4 through 5th grade and offers Sunday school classes, Sunday morning children’s church, and Wednesday night children’s classes. Throughout the year, Rhonda and Mitchell teach and work with the children of CLPC to provide kids led worship services, Liberty kids choir, vacation bible school, children’s

productions, and an annual Easter egg hunt and trunk or treat event. Rhonda and Mitchell go above and beyond to make every child that walks through the doors of CLPC feel loved and appreciated and they make sure that each of those children hear the Gospel. Rhonda and Mitchell have a love for children and a desire to instill the foundation of God’s Word into them. Their passion for the children’s ministry shows through their dedication and time that they invest into the children at CLPC and the children in our community.

 

Rhonda’s service to the Kingdom doesn’t stop there. She also leads a team to provide a community wellness event during the summer that educates people and families about many different services and resources for all age groups throughout our community. Rhonda is also licensed in mental

health and substance abuse. She coordinates and leads our Renewing Minds meetings for teens and adults.

 

Rhonda and Mitchell have a heart for others and the work they do for the Kingdom shows how much they desire others to know the love of Jesus.
